The Hensel FK 1604 2F is a robust cable junction box developed for functional integrity applications in safety-critical electrical installations. Designed for indoor installation, it combines reliable protection, durable construction, and practical cable management in a compact enclosure.

The enclosure is manufactured from halogen-free, silicone-free polycarbonate and offers IP66 protection along with IK09 impact resistance. It features quick-lock lid fastening with visible open and locked positions, and the lid can be sealed without additional accessories.

This model includes integrated D01 fuse elements for a protected outgoing circuit and is tested for functional integrity classes E30, E60, and E90. It also provides PH120 insulation integrity in accordance with BS EN 50200 when used in conjunction with suitable insulation-retaining cables from approved manufacturers.

The FK 1604 2F is equipped with screw connections and metric knockouts for flexible cable entry. It supports a wide range of conductor cross-sections and is supplied with fixing accessories for installation.
